AS Roma lack some quality and, more importantly, aptitude. It is not the season of Tammy Abraham, who was so strong last season. We predict a narrow AC Milan victory, by either 1-0 or 2-1.

Not long ago, but in truly different times. This was the very last season of club icon Francesco Totti for AS Roma, with him saying goodbye after 25 years. He was on the bench this match, but did see his club win 4-1. Edin Dzeko scored twice, former Milan player Stephan El Shaarawy also scored once. Also in the starting line-up at AS Roma: Mohamed Salah.

26 October 2020: AC Milan – AS Roma 3-3

Just over two years ago, the two clubs met at the San Siro for a wonderful game of football. A fit Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored twice. He could not, however, prevent AS Roma from coming back from a deficit twice as well.

January 6, 2022: AC Milan – AS Roma 3-1

The last meeting between the two clubs dates back to a year ago. The protagonists of that time can play a leading role again. Olivier Giroud was allowed to take a penalty after hands from Tammy Abraham. The Englishman did later score, but eventually lost 3-1 due to, among other things, a goal by Leão for AC Milan.
