We have again done our best to come up with a list of notable new releases in casino land this week. And we have to say that we are above average about our finds! We managed to collect three blood of a game, which we bet you’ll enjoy playing. Or with squeezed buttocks, but more on that below.
On offer this week: back to the eighties with none other than Knight Rider; fierce horror in slot form, and fun brawling with hooligans.
Knight Rider – NetEnt
Our hearts quickened considerably on discovering the game Knight Rider from iGaming giant NetEnt among the latest slot releases. The game gets off to a good start. You are greeted by a very young David Hasselhoff, the man of the eighties. The epic soundtrack is of course incorporated into the game, as is KITT’s voice over. The design is also already infuriating. As for the game itself, it is pleasantly uncluttered. Not only because of the 4×5 reels and considerably contrasting laser elements against the dark background. Above all, there are not a whole lot of different symbols and features to remember. However, there is plenty to look forward to. For example, the wilds are multipliers, whose value corresponds to the number of the reels. With three scatters on the middle three reels, you get 10 free spins, which again involve some multiplier wilds. If you want to buy those ‘free’ spins, you can do so for 140 times your bet.
Knight Rider is a game you play mainly if you have active memories of the series or the 1980s. If you are looking for something more challenging and action-packed, then the next two slots are for you!
Tombstone RIP – Nolimit City
Not for tender souls, this next slot in our list of new releases… Indeed, in this gruesome Western-themed game, don’t be surprised if you suddenly see a corpse hanging. Gallows are a bold choice as an element in a casino game, but developer Nolimit City has ventured into it with this Tombstone RIP. You have to be able to stand it, so consider this a real trigger warning! So why on earth are we discussing this game anyway? Partly because of the jackpot of 300,000 times your stake. And with a bet from 0.10 to 50 euros per spin, you can work out what to expect.
Tombstone RIP also stands out in terms of gameplay. For instance, the game already starts with a trick question as an entry requirement. The xRIP feature is a much-discussed element in this game, which makes crumb wins simply disappear. You will also find three different types of wilds and two different scatters. Those scatters activate either the Hang ’em High free spins bonus round, or the Boothill free spins. The latter, however, is extremely rare. Or expensive. For 3000 (!) times your bet, for instance, you are in the Boothill bonus round, but this is also how the RTP shoots up from 96.08% to over 97%.
A lurid and already much-discussed game that for once is not immediately cheerful, which we will undoubtedly see again in award ceremonies!
Hooligan Hustle – Play’n GO
Well, something lighter, you might think. On to Hooligan Hustle from Play’n GO, a somewhat cartoonishly designed game in which hooligans call the shots. They are clearly in the mood, judging by the punching irons, beers, crowbars, bricks and clubs that will fill your reels.
We see a classic 5×3 grid with 243 ways to win, which, however, can increase to around 1,000 times more thanks to the split symbol. Above the reels, there is an additional row, on which various unique symbols appear at random that affect the reel below. A multiplier, for example. After three scatters, you have a choice of three bonus rounds, where that top row again plays a starring role – in one kind of bonus round more than in the other. Those three rounds mean choosing 10, 5 or 1 single free spin. In other words: do you play safe, or go for an extreme gamble? Bet as little as 10 cents, by the way, up to a thousand times that. So it’s a game for every mood and type of player.
Once in a while you just want to riot, especially now – and Hooligan Hustle facilitates this excellently!
